Equipment & Shops in TTT

As mentioned in the 'how to play' section, TTT features a variety of quirky items players can use.
Learning about the items available can help with building a convincing case, real or fictional, about how something took place!
Traitors, and some Innocent roles, have access to shops that allow them to purchase powerful gear.
Certain items are only accessible to innocent roles, traitor roles, or unique roles both in and out of their respective shops.
I've put together a tierlist, if you just want to know which might be good to use.
Detectives spawn with one credit but gain more as traitors die, they can spend their credits on the following:
- Body Armour - Reduces the user's damage taken by 35% (slight buff from the default 30%); can stack multiple times if bought again.
- Defibrillator - Allows the user to revive a player from death, assuming the player didn't die to a headshot (optional rule, active).
- DNA Scanner - Default equipment for the Detective, but is also purchasable, gathers DNA from a corpse to identify a killer.
- Handcuffs - Forces players that are interacted with to drop their inventory, disarming them (they will drop any traitor items).
- Health Station - A microwave shaped box that can be interacted with to recover health by anyone; the generous choice (makes people gather, which can be negative).
- Homerun Bat - Does a lot of damage to the target and knocks them away, and airborne if possible.
- Improved Golden Gun - A gun with one bullet. This kills traitors instantly but kills the user if they shoot an innocent role; can be given to other players.
- Jet Pack - Makes flight possible, can be abused to reach difficult to access locations.
- Minecraft Block - Allows the user to place Minecraft blocks, can be useful for making paths or structures.
- Portal Gun - Can be fired to make a persistent quantum tunnel between two locations; unlimited ammo but only two portals can exist at a time.
- Randomat-4000 - Allows the Detective to enable a modifier that significantly changes the way the game is placed for a round.
- Stungun - Shooting a player with this will ragdoll them, disarming them (allows you to grab them with the Magneto Stick); has limited ammo.
- Teleporter - Can be used to set a location, then used again later to teleport to that location.
- UMP Prototype - A buyable SMG that does decent damage and causes the target's crosshair to be knocked around when hit.
- UNO Reverse - When used, reflects all damage to their sources for 3 seconds.
- Visualiser - Infamously buggy, the visualiser sometimes generates a holographic recreation of a victim's death if thrown on to their body.
Spawning with two credits, and able to earn more as they kill the innocents, traitors have access to these options:
- Barnacle - A placeable version of the Barnacle enemy from Half-Life 2; clings to ceilings and traps, then eats, people that walk underneath (including clumsy traitors).
- Body Armour - Reduces incoming bullet damage by 35%, can stack if bought multiple times (optional, enabled).
- C4 - A powerful bomb that can be set with a 45 second to 10 minute timer, when this runs out it explodes and will probably kill most people nearby.
- Disguiser - The user can enable this tool to make their name invisible when hovered over; while playermodels make this redundant, it also protects from innocent radar scans.
- Flare Gun - Loaded with 4 shots, this will burn bodies that are hit by it until nothing remains (does not clear bloodstains or explosive evidence).
- Harpoon - A thrown ranged weapon that, if it connects, will instantly kill the target.
- Juggernog - A clutch item used to restore health and overall by 50% of your max health in a panic.
- Killer Bungers - The Bugsnax version of the old 'Turtle Grenade'; it's a projectile you can toss to make a spawn point for a few aggressive Bungers that will attack players indiscriminately.
- Knife - Can instant kill a single target from close range if they have already taken some damage.
- M4 SLAM - The SLAM from Half-Life; can be placed on walls as a tripmine if left-clicking while close to a surface, or thrown and detonated for massive damage.
- Minifier - Shrinks the user, making them harder to hit or see while the effect is active.
- Position Swapper - Can be used to target a player, then used again to swap places with them. Try jumping off of buildings with it!
- Radar - Pings every 30 seconds leaving a marker indicating where each player was at that time, helps the traitors pin down any hidden players.
- Weeping Angel - A gun that causes the victim to be the target of a Weeping Angel.
Spawning with a single credit, the Survivalist has access to one item from this list:
- Body Armour - A little extra protection, if you're not intending to hide away or would prefer some insurance.
- Health Station - Similar to the Detective's Health Station, but likely bought with the intent to use more selfishly.
- Radio - The choice for the Survivalist here for a good time, not a long time, the radio allows them to loudly listen to tunes as they hide away.
- No Hazard Damage - Provides immunity to explosions, which can be useful against tools such as C4, or explosive barrels in the level.
Some items are not tied to a shop, and are associated with unique roles instead:
- Deputy Deagle - Belonging to the Sheriff, the Deputy Deagle is a weapon that converts a player to a Deputy if they're hit by it.
- Marker's Gun - Used by the Marker to paint players, winning them the game if every player has been painted.
- Mesmerist's Defib - Allows the Mesmerist to revive a killed player as a Thrall (converted Traitor).
