What is Dota 2?

Dota 2 is a free-to-play, five-a-side, game of two teams ensuring their own economies until the enemy base falls by any means necessary. You can find the game on Steam here.

If you're keen on learning the game, I'm putting together an 'evolving guide' on the game. Dota changes a lot, but I'll be trying to explain some handy-dandy concepts, here.

I will make a more swish layout for this sometime, but if you want to read my builds, I'll link them here:

• Crystal Maiden - Mana Dork - Help your team never run out of mana while building toward a mobile, 'safe' ultimate use.
• Tusk - The Cold Shoulder - Heavily utility-focused, this build turns Tusk into a positioning mastermind and lethal southpaw.
• Night Stalker - Night Terrors - Consistent early farming turns into lucrative and effective ganks as the game turns dark.

Each of this guides was made by me to try and capture how I like to play the hero, or think they can be played in a fun way.
